SCAN is recruiting: an associate lawyer who has already taken the oath of office: 2 to 4 years of experience minimum (in a law firm or a legal department) based in Paris

Job Description:

In direct relation with the partners, the associate will have to manage the following missions

• Advice, assistance and representation of clients in matters of personal data protection (Data Protection Act, RGPD, recommendations of the CNIL and the EDPS, etc.);
• Advice, assistance and representation of clients on various legal issues relating to digital law (computer security, e-reputation, e-commerce, etc.);
• Management and defense of the firm's clients' trademark and domain name portfolios, as well as in matters of intellectual property law;
• Drafting and negotiating all types of IT contracts and intellectual services;
• Participate and lead punctual awareness actions and training sessions in the field of intellectual property, digital law and RGPD.

These assignments reflect the bulk of the activity to date but are subject to adjustment.

Candidate Profile:

Sworn in as a lawyer, Holder of the CAPA and a postgraduate degree in intellectual property/NTIC (M2, CEIPI,)

Job Description:

Working directly with the partners, the associate (M/F) will be responsible for managing a large number of advisory and litigation files in intellectual property law (trademarks, designs, domain names, copyright, contracts and unfair competition).

Among the tasks entrusted to us are: monitoring of trademark registration procedures (notifications, oppositions), trademark and domain name surveillance, consultations and contracts in all of the above-mentioned fields, trademark, domain name and personal data audits, judicial and extrajudicial litigation in all of the above-mentioned fields.
